Diagnostic

Our diagnostic unit among other things is equipped with the latest OCT machine from TOPCON (3D Maestro 2) and AB-scan machine which is of the first of their kind in the country. We provide diagnostic service for both patients in the clinic and for those coming in referral base from other eye health care service provider.

Consultation and Out Patient

Every visitor to our clinic in addition to be cared based on presenting illnesses/complaint will under go screening if identified with any age related or other risk factors for common potential vision impairing entities such as glaucoma, AMD, diabetic retinopathy etc.

Medical and Surgical Retina

The unit is Equipped with vitrectomy machine and a combi laser machine system that has both slit lamp and endo laser delivery system. These combined with 3D Maestro 2 diagnostic facilities including OCT-A make the unit to be a leading service provider in vitreo retinal disorders.

Pediatric Eye Care and Strabismus

The clinic has a dedicated unit for children and young adults eye problems. Staffed with specialist paediatrics ophthalmologist, the clinic provides a range of services that includes child hood visual function screening, evaluation of squint and strabismus surgeries, eye screening exam for preterm babies, refraction and optical corrections, follow up and rehabilitation of lazy eyes, and the management of babies with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), which is an emerging cause of childhood blindness in Ethiopia.

Glaucoma and Cataract

Our service focus in addressing the leading blinding eye diseases in the country such as Cataract and glaucoma through providing and adopting the latest modalities of surgical and medical interventions methods and techniques; phacoemulsification facilities for cataract surgery, Optic disc and never fibre layer damage analysis using The New OCT based HOOD Report for Glaucoma and probability MAp are introduced to our system.

Orbit and Oculoplastic

Surgical correction of excessive tearing from obstruction, lid mis alignment correction and orbital tumour removal are among the common surgical service that can be provide in our clinic.

Neuro-ophthalmology

Neuro-ophthalmology focuses on diseases of the nervous system that affect vision, control of eye movements, and often see patients with complex multi-system disease. 

Surgical unit

Naturally, the eye as small and yet as sophistication structure it is, among other parameters eye surgeries mainly depend on the quality and features of the surgical Microscope in use. Cognisant of this, our clinic is equipped with latest Topcon brand surgical Microscope that has the finest resolution, magnification and manoeuvrability with capability for BIOMS attachment for posterior segment surgeries.
